Product is faulty (within 14 days)
If you believe an item you have received from us is faulty or develops a fault within 14 days of arrival, then you should report the matter to us using our online support form within 14 days of the goods arriving.
Use of our "Online Support Form" facility involves filling in an online form that requests the relevant details about the problem. Even if you do not want "support" you must still use this system to report the problem to us. The information provided by you will then be validated and processed, and within 2 working days we will contact you with a response to your form entry. This response will be either:
1.
The item being confirmed as probably faulty, and you will be provided with returns details.
2.
A request for further information about the problem, or clarification about some of the details you have provided.
3.
Diagnosis of why your problem has occurred and what you can do to resolve the problem.
If the information you provided leads us to believe that the item is faulty, then we will provide you with returns instructions and a returns authorisation number. You will then have a further 14 days within which to return the item to us. Please return all items using the Royal Mail recorded delivery service, unless we organise a courier collection from your address. Upon receipt of the item it will be security checked to confirm it was actually purchased from us and thoroughly tested to confirm if the described faults to actually exist. If, after our testing process is complete, the item is confirmed as faulty, then the following will occur:
1.
You will be sent a replacement item, or if you are a consumer, you can choose to have a full refund.
2.
Your postage costs for returning the goods to us using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery will be refunded.
If after testing, we find that that the item is not faulty and in full working order or that the item has been physically damaged or broken as a result of misuse, accidental damage or incorrect fitting then the following will occur:
1.
Your postage costs for returning the goods to us will not be refunded.
2.
The item will returned to you.
3.
You will be required to pay our return delivery costs and an administration fee.
If after checking the item, we find that that the item was not purchased from us, then the following will occur:
1.
You will be invoiced for a 30% administration fee and the cost of return delivery.
2.
The item will be returned to you upon settlement of the invoice.
3.
Your details will be added to a mail order fraud blacklist.
Returns and refunds can take up to 30 days from receipt of the goods to be fully processed. In some cases, with original manufacturer accessories, we may ask you to contact the manufacturer directly to confirm the fault and speed up the returns process, or we may act as an intermediary between you and the manufacturer in which case the returns process can take several weeks longer.~~~2270~2315~~
